Monday 22nd March to Sunday 28th March is National Playgroup Week across the country.

This year’s theme is “Playgroup is for everyone”.

Playgroup is an important social and developmental support for families with young children. Research continues to highlight the benefits of play for children’s development, especially in their first five years. Creative and unstructured learning through play is essential to the development of young children.

Playgroups are a wonderful place for families to come together and provide opportunities for children to play and become ready for life.

You can find Playgroups in your area via the Playgroup website
